Launch calculators run in your browser. Values you enter into astronomy calculators are not intentionally sent to Astronomy Times for storage.
Analytics
If Google Analytics is configured by the site owner, it may collect technical and usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser characteristics, and interaction events. Analytics is disabled when no measurement ID is configured.
Contact information
When the contact form is enabled and you send a message, the site processes the name, email address, subject and message you provide so the site owner can respond. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information to prevent automated abuse.
Server logs
The hosting provider may create routine server logs containing request time, requested URL, IP address, browser information and response status for security, troubleshooting and operations.
Data minimisation
Astronomy Times does not require an account for its public calculators and does not intentionally store calculator inputs. Retention for contact messages and server logs should be limited to operational, security and correspondence needs.
